He prayed the dawn prayer with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and when he finished the prayer, he turned away.

[Its chain is sahih] Abu Dawud narrated it, Prayer, chapter "The imam turning after finishing the salutation," no. 614, from the hadith of Yahya Qattan, through him, and it is also in Al-Kubra, no. 1257, and Tirmidhi said, no. 219, no. 614, "hasan sahih."
