The Prophet ﷺ said, "When Satan hears the call to prayer, he turns and flees, breaking wind so that he does not hear its sound. When it ends, he returns and whispers. When he hears the iqamah, he leaves again so that he does not hear its sound, and when it ends, he comes back and whispers."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد وزهير بن حرب وإسحق بن إبراهيم واللفظ لقتيبة قال إسحق أخبرنا وقال الآخران حدثنا جرير عن الأعمش عن أبي صالح
عن النبي ﷺ قال إن الشيطان إذا سمع النداء بالصلاة أحال له ضراط حتى لا يسمع صوته فإذا سكت رجع فوسوس فإذا سمع الإقامة ذهب حتى لا يسمع صوته فإذا سكت رجع فوسوس
