The iqamah for the night prayer was called, when a man said, "I have something I need to discuss." The Prophet ﷺ stood speaking with him privately until the people, or some of them, fell asleep. Then they prayed.

أقيمت صلاة العشاء فقال رجل لي حاجة فقام النبي ﷺ يناجيه حتى نام القوم أو بعض القوم ثم صلوا
