A complaint was brought to the Prophet ﷺ about a man who imagines that he feels something during prayer. He said, "He should not break off the prayer until he hears a sound or detects an odor."Abu Bakr and Zuhayr bin Harb said in their narration that it was Abdullah bin Zayd.
و حدثني عمرو الناقد وزهير بن حرب ح و حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة جميعا عن ابن عيينة قال عمرو حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن الزهري
شكي إلى النبي ﷺ الرجل يخيل إليه أنه يجد الشيء في الصلاة قال لا ينصرف حتى يسمع صوتا أو يجد ريحا قال أبو بكر وزهير بن حرب في روايتهما هو عبد الله بن زيد
