Fatimah bint Abu Hubaysh came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I am a woman who experiences continuous bleeding and never becomes pure. Should I abandon the prayer?"He replied, "No, that is only a vein, not menstruation. When your menstrual period begins, leave the prayer, and when it ends, wash the blood from yourself and pray."

جاءت فاطمة بنت أبي حبيش إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت يا رسول الله إني امرأة أستحاض فلا أطهر أفأدع الصلاة فقال لا إنما ذلك عرق وليس بالحيضة فإذا أقبلت الحيضة فدعي الصلاة وإذا أدبرت فاغسلي عنك الدم وصلي
