Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar reported,

People of Iraq, how trivial are the matters you ask about, yet how grave are the sins you commit! I heard my father Abdullah bin Umar say, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Discord will come from over there,' and he gestured with his hand toward the east, from where the two horns of Satan rise, 'while you strike one another's necks. Musa only killed the man from Pharaoh's people by mistake, yet Allah said to him, "And you killed a soul, but We delivered you from distress and tried you with a severe trial" [Ta-Ha 20:40].'"Ahmad bin Umar, in his narration from Salim, did not say "I heard."

سالم بن عبد الله بن عمر يقول

ا يا أهل العراق ما أسألكم عن الصغيرة وأركبكم للكبيرة سمعت أبي عبد الله بن عمر يقولا سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن الفتنة تجيء من هاهنا وأومأ بيده نحو المشرق من حيث يطلع قرنا الشيطان وأنتم يضرب بعضكم رقاب بعض وإنما قتل موسى الذي قتل من آل فرعون خطأ فقال الله عز وجل له {وقتلت نفسا فنجيناك من الغم وفتناك فتونا} قال أحمد بن عمر في روايته عن سالم لم يقل سمعت
