The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Hell will be brought forth on that Day with seventy thousand reins, and with each rein seventy thousand angels dragging it."
حدثنا عمر بن حفص بن غياث حدثنا أبي عن العلاء بن خالد الكاهلي عن شقيق
قال رسول الله ﷺ يؤتى بجهنم يومئذ لها سبعون ألف زمام مع كل زمام سبعون ألف ملك يجرونها
Muslim narrated it on the authority of Umar bin Hafs, from his father, from Ala bin Khalid, from Shaqiq, from Abdullah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family, "Hell will be brought forth, having seventy thousand reins, with seventy thousand angels pulling on every rein."This is in Sahih Muslim. He said that raising it to the Prophet is a mistake. Thawri, Marwan, and others narrated it from Ala, from Khalid, as mawquf.
