The Prophet ﷺ said, "No Muslim man dies but that Allah admits a Jew or a Christian into the Fire in his place."Umar bin Abdul-Aziz then asked him to swear by Allah, besides whom there is no god, three times that his father had narrated this to him from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he swore to him.Saeed did not tell me that he asked him to swear, nor did he reject Awn's statement.
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عفان بن مسلم حدثنا همام حدثنا قتادة
عن النبي ﷺ قال لا يموت رجل مسلم إلا أدخل الله مكانه النار يهوديا أو نصرانيا قال فاستحلفه عمر بن عبد العزيز بالله الذي لا إله إلا هو ثلاث مرات أن أباه حدثه عن رسول الله ﷺ قال فحلف له قال فلم يحدثني سعيد أنه استحلفه ولم ينكر على عون قوله
