The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No one loves praise more than Allah, and for that reason He has praised Himself. And no one has greater protective jealousy than Allah, and for that reason He has forbidden indecencies."
حدثنا عثمان بن أبي شيبة وإسحق بن إبراهيم قال إسحق أخبرنا و قال عثمان حدثنا جرير عن الأعمش عن أبي وائل
قال رسول الله ﷺ ليس أحد أحب إليه المدح من الله من أجل ذلك مدح نفسه وليس أحد أغير من الله من أجل ذلك حرم الفواحش
