The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the day Allah created the heavens and the earth, He created one hundred mercies, each mercy filling the space between the heavens and the earth. From these, He placed a single mercy on earth, and through it a mother shows tenderness to her child, and wild animals and birds show compassion to one another. When the Day of Resurrection comes, He will complete the mercies with this one."
حدثنا ابن نمير حدثنا أبو معاوية عن داود بن أبي هند عن أبي عثمان
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله خلق يوم خلق السماوات والأرض مائة رحمة كل رحمة طباق ما بين السماء والأرض فجعل منها في الأرض رحمة فبها تعطف الوالدة على ولدها والوحش والطير بعضها على بعض فإذا كان يوم القيامة أكملها بهذه الرحمة
