I visited Abdullah while he was sick to check on him, and he related to us two narrations, one about himself and one about the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.He said, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Allah is more delighted with the repentance of His believing servant than a man in a barren, deadly wasteland who has his mount with him carrying his food and drink. He slept, then woke up to find that it had wandered off. He searched for it until thirst overcame him, then he said, 'I will return to the place where I was and sleep there until I die.' So he laid his head on his forearm to die. Then he woke up to find his mount beside him with his provisions, food, and drink upon it. Allah is more delighted with the repentance of His believing servant than this man is with his mount and his provisions."
