I would drink while I was menstruating, then hand the cup to the Prophet ﷺ, and he would place his mouth on the very spot where mine had been and drink. And I would gnaw on a bone while I was menstruating, then hand it to the Prophet ﷺ, and he would place his mouth on the spot where mine had been (Zuhayr did not mention "and drink").

كنت أشرب وأنا حائض ثم أناوله النبي ﷺ فيضع فاه على موضع في فيشرب وأتعرق العرق وأنا حائض ثم أناوله النبي ﷺ فيضع فاه على موضع في ولم يذكر زهير فيشرب
