When the Prophet ﷺ would lie down to sleep, he would say, "Allah, in Your name I live and in Your name I die." When he woke up, he would say, "Praise be to Allah who has given us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection."

أن النبي ﷺ كان إذا أخذ مضجعه قال اللهم باسمك أحيا وباسمك أموت وإذا استيقظ قال الحمد لله الذي أحيانا بعد ما أماتنا وإليه النشور
