We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a military expedition. He then mentioned the hadith, in which he said, "The One you are calling upon is closer to one of you than the neck of his mount." His version of the hadith does not contain the mention of "There is no power and no strength except by Allah."
و حدثنا إسحق بن إبراهيم أخبرنا الثقفي حدثنا خالد الحذاء عن أبي عثمان
كنا مع رسول الله ﷺ في غزاة فذكر الحديث وقال فيه والذي تدعونه أقرب إلى أحدكم من عنق راحلة أحدكم وليس في حديثه ذكر لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله
