The polytheists of Quraysh came to dispute with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about divine decree, so the verse was revealed, "On the Day they will be dragged into the Fire on their faces, taste the touch of Hellfire. Indeed, We have created everything in due measure" [Qamar 54:48–49].

جاء مشركو قريش يخاصمون رسول الله ﷺ في القدر فنزلت {يوم يسحبون في النار على وجوههم ذوقوا مس سقر إنا كل شيء خلقناه بقدر}
