The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When Allah loves a servant, He calls Jibreel and says, 'I love so-and-so, so love him.' Jibreel then loves him. Then Jibreel calls out in the heaven, saying, 'Allah loves so-and-so, so love him.' So the inhabitants of the heaven love him. Then acceptance is placed for him on the earth. And when Allah hates a servant, He calls Jibreel and says, 'I hate so-and-so, so hate him.' Jibreel then hates him. Then he calls out among the inhabitants of the heaven, 'Allah hates so-and-so, so hate him.' So they hate him, and then hatred is placed for him on the earth."The narration of Ala bin Musayyab does not mention hatred.
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا يعقوب يعني ابن عبد الرحمن القاري وقال قتيبة حدثنا عبد العزيز يعني الدراوردي ح و حدثناه سعيد بن عمرو الأشعثي أخبرنا عبثر عن العلاء بن المسيب ح و حدثني هارون بن سعيد الأيلي حدثنا ابن وهب حدثني مالك وهو ابن أنس كلهم عن سهيل بهذا الإسناد غير أن حديث العلاء بن المسيب ليس فيه ذكر البغض
