The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said... and Yahya bin Yahya narrated to us, saying, I read to Malik, from Suhayl bin Abu Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When a man says, 'The people are ruined,' he himself is the most ruined of them."Abu Ishaq said, "I do not know whether it is ahlakahum with the accusative or ahlakuhum with the nominative."
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة بن قعنب حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ ح و حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى قال قرأت على مالك عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه عن أبي هريرة أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إذا قال الرجل هلك الناس فهو أهلكهم قال أبو إسحق لا أدري أهلكهم بالنصب أو أهلكهم بالرفع
