Hisham bin Hakeem came across a man, the governor of Homs, who was making some Nabateans stand in the sun as a means of compelling them to pay the jizyah. Hisham said, "What is this? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Allah will punish those who punish people in this world.'"
