Muslim narrated the hadith of Muslim bin Abu Maryam from Abu Salih from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, "Deeds are presented every Monday and Thursday." He narrated it from Malik and Ibn Uyayna as a raised report. He said, none but Ibn Wahb raised it from Malik, while the companions of the Muwatta and others narrated it as stopped. Humaydi said that Ibn Uyayna raised it once, while Saeed bin Mansur, Ishaq bin Israil, and others narrated it from him as stopped.

I say, what appears to me is that the mawquf form should be preferred, this being with regard to this particular chain. As for the wording, it is sahih, for it has come in Musnad Ahmad, vol. 2, pp. 483–484.Imam Ahmad, may Allah have mercy on him, said, Yunus bin Muhammad narrated to us, he said, Khazraj, meaning Ibn Uthman Saadi, narrated to me, from Abu Ayub, meaning the freed slave of Uthman, from Abu Hurairah , who said, I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, say, "The deeds of the children of Adam are presented every Thursday and Friday, and the deed of one who severs ties is not accepted."Among its corroborating narrations is what Imam Ahmad related in vol. 5, p. 201, where he, may Allah have mercy on him, said, Abdul-Rahman bin Mahdi narrated to us, Thabit bin Qays Abu Ghusn narrated to us, Abu Saeed Maqburi narrated to me, Usama bin Zayd narrated to me, and he then related the hadith as marfu. It is a hasan hadith, for Hafiz said in the biography of Thabit bin Qays, "He is truthful but makes mistakes."There is also the hadith of Jabir, as found in Targhib wa Tarhib, vol. 3, p. 459, where Hafiz Munziri said, "Tabarani related it in Awsat, and its narrators are trustworthy."What corroborates it in meaning is what Muslim related in vol. 16, p. 122, from the hadith of Suhayl bin Abu Salih, from his father, from Abu Hurairah , that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said, "The gates of Paradise are opened on Monday and Thursday, and every servant who does not associate anything with Allah is forgiven, except a man between whom and his brother there is enmity. Then it is said, 'Wait for these two until they reconcile, wait for these two until they reconcile, wait for these two until they reconcile.'"
