The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You will conquer a land in which the qirat is mentioned. Treat its people well, for they have a covenant of protection and a tie of kinship. If you see two men quarreling over the place of a single brick, leave that land."He then passed by Rabia and Abdul-Rahman, the two sons of Shurahbil bin Hasanah, disputing over the place of a brick, so he left.
حدثني أبو الطاهر أخبرنا ابن وهب أخبرني حرملة ح و حدثني هارون بن سعيد الأيلي حدثنا ابن وهب حدثني حرملة وهو ابن عمران التجيبي عن عبد الرحمن بن شماسة المهري قال سمعت
ا قال رسول الله ﷺ إنكم ستفتحون أرضا يذكر فيها القيراط فاستوصوا بأهلها خيرا فإن لهم ذمة ورحما فإذا رأيتم رجلين يقتتلان في موضع لبنة فاخرج منها قال فمر بربيعة وعبد الرحمن ابني شرحبيل ابن حسنة يتنازعان في موضع لبنة فخرج منها
Muslim narrated the hadith of Ibn Wahb and Jareer bin Hazim from Harmala bin Imran, and there is a difference between them. Ibn Wahb narrated from Ibn Shumama from Abu Dharr that the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said, "You will conquer a land in which the qirat is mentioned, so treat its people well, for they have a bond of kinship and protection." Jareer narrated from Harmala from Ibn Shamasa from Abu Basra from Abu Dharr that the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said the same.
