There was some disagreement between Khalid bin Walid and Abdul-Rahman bin Awf, and Khalid insulted him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not insult any of my companions, for if one of you were to spend gold equal to Mount Uhud, it would not equal a handful of one of them, nor even half of it."
