Aqra bin Habis came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "The only ones who have pledged allegiance to you are the pilgrim-robbers of Aslam, Ghifar, and Mazina, and, I think, Juhayna." Muhammad is the one who expressed the doubt.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Tell me, if Aslam, Ghifar, Mazina, and, I think, Juhayna are better than Banu Tamim, Banu Amir, Asad, and Ghatafan, have those latter tribes then failed and lost?"Aqra replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "By Him in whose hand my soul rests, they are indeed better than them."The version of Ibn Abu Shayba does not include the remark that Muhammad was the one who expressed the doubt. He said simply "and Juhayna" without saying "I think."
