Abu Barza reported,

The Prophet ﷺ was on a military expedition when Allah granted him spoils of war. He asked his companions, "Do you find anyone missing?"They said, "Yes, so-and-so, so-and-so, and so-and-so."Then he asked again, "Do you find anyone missing?"They said, "Yes, so-and-so, so-and-so, and so-and-so."Then he asked once more, "Do you find anyone missing?"They said, "No."He said, "But I find Julaybib missing. Search for him."They searched among the slain and found him beside seven men he had killed before they killed him. The Prophet ﷺ came and stood over him and said, "He killed seven, then they killed him. This one is from me and I am from him. This one is from me and I am from him."Then he placed him on his forearms, with nothing to carry him but the forearms of the Prophet ﷺ. A grave was dug for him and he was placed in it, and no mention was made of washing him.

عن أبي برزة

أن النبي ﷺ كان في مغزى له فأفاء الله عليه فقال لأصحابه هل تفقدون من أحد قالوا نعم فلانا وفلانا وفلانا ثم قال هل تفقدون من أحد قالوا نعم فلانا وفلانا وفلانا ثم قال هل تفقدون من أحد قالوا لا قال لكني أفقد جليبيبا فاطلبوه فطلب في القتلى فوجدوه إلى جنب سبعة قد قتلهم ثم قتلوه فأتى النبي ﷺ فوقف عليه فقال قتل سبعة ثم قتلوه هذا مني وأنا منه هذا مني وأنا منه قال فوضعه على ساعديه ليس له إلا ساعدا النبي ﷺ قال فحفر له ووضع في قبره ولم يذكر غسلا
