While I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ one night, he dismounted and relieved himself. Then he came back, and I poured water for him from a small vessel I had with me. He performed ablution and wiped over his leather socks.
و حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى التميمي أخبرنا أبو الأحوص عن أشعث عن الأسود بن هلال
بينا أنا مع رسول الله ﷺ ذات ليلة إذ نزل فقضى حاجته ثم جاء فصببت عليه من إداوة كانت معي فتوضأ ومسح على خفيه
