Whenever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from a journey, the young children of his household would be brought out to meet him. He once returned from a journey, and I was rushed forward to him first, so he seated me in front of him. Then one of Fatimah's two sons was brought, and he placed him behind him. So we entered Madinah three together on one mount.
حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى وأبو بكر بن أبي شيبة واللفظ ليحيى قال أبو بكر حدثنا وقال يحيى أخبرنا أبو معاوية عن عاصم الأحول عن مورق العجلي
كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا قدم من سفر تلقي بصبيان أهل بيته قال وإنه قدم من سفر فسبق بي إليه فحملني بين يديه ثم جيء بأحد ابني فاطمة فأردفه خلفه قال فأدخلنا المدينة ثلاثة على دابة
