I went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during part of the day, and he did not speak to me nor did I speak to him, until he reached the market of Banu Qaynuqa. Then he turned back and came to the tent of Fatimah and said, "Is the little one there? Is the little one there?" meaning Hasan.We thought his mother was keeping him back only to wash him and dress him in a beaded necklace. It was not long before he came running, and each of them embraced the other.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then said, "O Allah, I love him, so love him, and love whoever loves him."
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر حدثنا سفيان عن عبيد الله بن أبي يزيد عن نافع بن جبير بن مطعم
خرجت مع رسول الله ﷺ في طائفة من النهار لا يكلمني ولا أكلمه حتى جاء سوق بني قينقاع ثم انصرف حتى أتى خباء فاطمة فقال أثم لكع أثم لكع يعني حسنا فظننا أنه إنما تحبسه أمه لأن تغسله وتلبسه سخابا فلم يلبث أن جاء يسعى حتى اعتنق كل واحد منهما صاحبه فقال رسول الله ﷺ اللهم إني أحبه فأحبه وأحبب من يحبه
