I heard him say, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called upon the people on the day of the Trench, and Zubayr responded. Then he called upon them again, and Zubayr responded. Then he called upon them a third time, and Zubayr responded. So the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Zubayr.'"

سمعته يقول ندب رسول الله ﷺ الناس يوم الخندق فانتدب الزبير ثم ندبهم فانتدب الزبير ثم ندبهم فانتدب الزبير فقال النبي ﷺ لكل نبي حواري وحواري الزبير
