Abu Hurairah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No child is born without Satan prodding him, so that he begins to wail from Satan's prod, except for the son of Maryam and his mother."Abu Hurairah then said, "Recite, if you wish, 'And I seek refuge for her and her offspring in You from Satan the accursed' [Al Imran 3:36]."The other two narrators said, "Satan touches him when he is born, so he begins to wail from Satan's touch of him." And in the version of Shuayb it reads, "from Satan's touch."

و حدثنيه محمد بن رافع حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر ح و حدثني عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن الدارمي حدثنا أبو اليمان أخبرنا شعيب جميعا عن الزهري بهذا الإسناد وقالا يمسه حين يولد فيستهل صارخا من مسة الشيطان إياه وفي حديث شعيب من مس الشيطان
