The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Muslim who commits the gravest offense against the Muslims is the one who asks about a matter that was not forbidden, and it becomes forbidden to the people because of his question."In Muamar's version, it reads, "a man who asks about something and probes into it." And in Yunus's version it says, from Amir bin Saad, that he heard Saad.
