The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Muslim who commits the greatest offense against the Muslims is one who asks about something that had not been forbidden to them, and it then becomes forbidden to them because of his question."
حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى أخبرنا إبراهيم بن سعد عن ابن شهاب
قال رسول الله ﷺ إن أعظم المسلمين في المسلمين جرما من سأل عن شيء لم يحرم على المسلمين فحرم عليهم من أجل مسألته
