The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither excessively tall nor short. His complexion was neither glaringly white nor deeply brown, and his hair was neither tightly curled nor completely straight. Allah commissioned him as a prophet at the age of forty. He remained in Makkah for ten years and in Madinah for ten years, and Allah took his soul at the age of sixty. There were not twenty white hairs on his head and beard combined.
حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى قال قرأت على مالك عن ربيعة بن أبي عبد الرحمن
كان رسول الله ﷺ ليس بالطويل البائن ولا بالقصير وليس بالأبيض الأمهق ولا بالآدم ولا بالجعد القطط ولا بالسبط بعثه الله على رأس أربعين سنة فأقام بمكة عشر سنين وبالمدينة عشر سنين وتوفاه الله على رأس ستين سنة وليس في رأسه ولحيته عشرون شعرة بيضاء
