Anas bin Malik was asked about the dyeing of the Prophet's ﷺ hair. He replied, "If I wished to count the grey hairs that were on his head, I could have done so." He added, "He did not dye his hair. Abu Bakr, however, dyed his hair with henna and katam, and Umar dyed his with pure henna."
