The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Ten things are from the natural disposition: trimming the moustache, letting the beard grow, using the tooth-stick, drawing water into the nostrils, clipping the nails, washing the finger joints, plucking the underarm hair, shaving the pubic hair, and cleansing with water."Zakariya said, Musab said, "I have forgotten the tenth, unless it is rinsing the mouth."Qutayba added that Waki said, "Cleansing with water means washing oneself after relieving oneself."
Both of them narrated the hadith of Musab bin Shayba, from Talq bin Habib, from Ibn Zubayr, from Ayesha, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, "Ten are from the fitrah."Abu Hasan said, Two reliable memorizing narrators contradicted him, Sulayman and Abu Bishr, who both narrated it from Talq bin Habib as his own statement, not as a hadith from the Prophet. This was said by Mutamir from his father, and by Abu Awana from Ibn Bishr. Musab is a narrator whose hadith is rejected, as Nasai said.
Hafiz Iraqi mentioned this statement of Nasai in Tarh Tathrib, vol. 1, p. 73, and remained silent about it. Hafiz said in Talkhis, vol. 1, p. 77, after attributing it to Muslim, "Ibn Sakan graded it sahih." End quote. But it is defective. It appears that the preference is for the narration of Jafar bin Iyas and Sulayman Taymi, since it is superior to it in both description and number. And Allah knows best.
