The Prophet ﷺ ordered that the mustache be trimmed closely and the beard be left to grow.
و حدثناه قتيبة بن سعيد عن مالك بن أنس عن أبي بكر بن نافع عن أبيه
عن النبي ﷺ أنه أمر بإحفاء الشوارب وإعفاء اللحية
