I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when the time for the afternoon prayer arrived. The people searched for water to perform ablution but could not find any. Then water was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he placed his hand in that vessel and instructed the people to perform ablution from it.I saw the water gushing out from beneath his fingers, and the people performed ablution until every last one of them had done so.
و حدثني إسحق بن موسى الأنصاري حدثنا معن حدثنا مالك ح و حدثني أبو الطاهر أخبرنا ابن وهب عن مالك بن أنس عن إسحق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ وحانت صلاة العصر فالتمس الناس الوضوء فلم يجدوه فأتي رسول الله ﷺ بوضوء فوضع رسول الله ﷺ في ذلك الإناء يده وأمر الناس أن يتوضئوا منه قال فرأيت الماء ينبع من تحت أصابعه فتوضأ الناس حتى توضئوا من عند آخرهم
