Abu Lubabah spoke with Ibn Umar, asking him to open a door in his house that would give him a shorter route to the mosque. The servants then found the shed skin of a snake, and Abdullah said, "Search for it and kill it."Abu Lubabah said, "Do not kill it, for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade killing the snakes that live in houses."
