Abu Saeed Khudri reported,

A group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were on a journey when they passed by one of the Arab tribes and asked for hospitality, but the tribe refused to host them. The tribespeople then asked, "Is there anyone among you who can perform ruqyah? Our chief has been bitten or stung."One of the companions said, "Yes." He went to the chief and recited the Opening of the Book over him, and the man recovered. He was given a flock of sheep as payment, but he refused to accept it, saying, "Not until I mention this to the Prophet ﷺ."He came to the Prophet ﷺ and told him what had happened, saying, "Messenger of Allah, by Allah, I recited nothing but the Opening of the Book."The Prophet ﷺ smiled and said, "How did you know it was a ruqyah?" Then he said, "Take from them, and assign me a share along with you."
