The Prophet ﷺ permitted the tribe of Amr to use their healing recitation for snakebite.Abu Zubayr said, I also heard Jabir bin Abdullah say, "A scorpion stung one of our men while we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."A man said, "Messenger of Allah, may I recite over him?"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "Whoever among you is able to benefit his brother, let him do so."Jabir said that a man from the group asked, "May I recite over him, Messenger of Allah?" He did not say, "May I recite?"
