Ayesha reported,

A young woman from the Ansar got married, then fell ill, and her hair fell out. Her family wanted to attach extensions to her hair, so they asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about it, and he cursed the woman who attaches hair extensions and the woman who has them attached.

عن عائشة

أن جارية من الأنصار تزوجت وأنها مرضت فتمرط شعرها فأرادوا أن يصلوه فسألوا رسول الله ﷺ عن ذلك فلعن الواصلة والمستوصلة
