Asma bint Abu Bakr reported,

A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I have a daughter who is a bride, and she was struck by measles, so her hair fell out. May I attach something to it?"He replied, "Allah has cursed the woman who attaches hair and the woman who has it attached."This is the wording of Abu Muawiya's narration, except that Waki and Shuba, in their versions, said that her hair fell out.

حدثناه أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عبدة ح و حدثناه ابن نمير حدثنا أبي وعبدة ح و حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا وكيع ح و حدثنا عمرو الناقد أخبرنا أسود بن عامر أخبرنا شعبة كلهم عن هشام بن عروة بهذا الإسناد نحو حديث أبي معاوية غير أن وكيعا وشعبة في حديثهما فتمرط شعرها
