Dawud reported from Uzrah, from Humayd bin Abdul-Rahman, from Saad bin Hisham, that Ayesha said, "We had a curtain with the image of a bird on it, and anyone who entered would be faced with it. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'Move this away, for every time I come in and see it I am reminded of the world.'"She continued, "We also had a plush cloth whose border, we used to say, was silk, and we would wear it."Ibn Muthanna said, and Abdul-Ala added to it, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not order us to cut it off."
