The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade wrapping oneself in the manner of Samma, sitting with one's garment drawn up around the knees in a single piece of cloth, and a man placing one leg over the other while lying flat on his back.

أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن اشتمال الصماء والاحتباء في ثوب واحد وأن يرفع الرجل إحدى رجليه على الأخرى وهو مستلق على ظهره
