The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever performs ablution thoroughly as Allah Almighty commanded, the prescribed prayers will be expiation for whatever sins occur between them."This is the wording in Ibn Muaz's narration. Ghundar's narration does not contain the phrase "during the governorship of Bishr," nor does it mention "the prescribed prayers."
