A man invited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I went along with him. A broth containing gourd was brought, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to eat from that gourd and clearly enjoyed it. When I saw this, I started picking out the pieces and placing them before him without eating any myself.Anas said, "I have loved gourd ever since."

دعا رسول الله ﷺ رجل فانطلقت معه فجيء بمرقة فيها دباء فجعل رسول الله ﷺ يأكل من ذلك الدباء ويعجبه قال فلما رأيت ذلك جعلت ألقيه إليه ولا أطعمه قال فقال أنس فما زلت بعد يعجبني الدباء
