A Persian neighbor of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to make delicious broth. He prepared some for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and then came to invite him.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "And this one, meaning Ayesha?"The man said, "No."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No."The man came again to invite him.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "And this one?"He said, "No."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "No."Then he came once more to invite him.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "And this one?"On the third time he said, "Yes."So they both rose, each making way for the other, until they reached his house.
و حدثني زهير بن حرب حدثنا يزيد بن هارون أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة عن ثابت
أن جارا لرسول الله ﷺ فارسيا كان طيب المرق فصنع لرسول الله ﷺ ثم جاء يدعوه فقال وهذه لعائشة فقال لا فقال رسول الله ﷺ لا فعاد يدعوه فقال رسول الله ﷺ وهذه قال لا قال رسول الله ﷺ لا ثم عاد يدعوه فقال رسول الله ﷺ وهذه قال نعم في الثالثة فقاما يتدافعان حتى أتيا منزله
