Abu Saeed Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade turning down the mouths of waterskins to drink directly from them. He explained that turning one down means to tip its mouth over and then drink from it.
وحدثناه عبد بن حميد أخبرنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا معمر عن الزهري بهذا الإسناد مثله غير أنه قال واختناثها أن يقلب رأسها ثم يشرب منه
