The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When night falls, or when evening comes, keep your children indoors, for the devils spread about at that time. Once a portion of the night has passed, you may let them go. Shut your doors and mention the name of Allah, for the devil does not open a closed door. Fasten your waterskins and mention the name of Allah. Cover your vessels and mention the name of Allah, even if you only place something across them. And put out your lamps."
و حدثني إسحق بن منصور أخبرنا روح بن عبادة حدثنا ابن جريج أخبرني عطاء أنه سمع
ا قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا كان جنح الليل أو أمسيتم فكفوا صبيانكم فإن الشيطان ينتشر حينئذ فإذا ذهب ساعة من الليل فخلوهم وأغلقوا الأبواب واذكروا اسم الله فإن الشيطان لا يفتح بابا مغلقا وأوكوا قربكم واذكروا اسم الله وخمروا آنيتكم واذكروا اسم الله ولو أن تعرضوا عليها شيئا وأطفئوا مصابيحكم
