Abdullah bin Amr bin As reported,

When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade preparing nabidh in certain vessels, the people said, "Not everyone can find suitable containers." So he granted them permission to use earthenware jars, provided they were not coated with pitch.

عن عبد الله بن عمرو قال

لما نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن النبيذ في الأوعية قالوا ليس كل الناس يجد فأرخص لهم في الجر غير المزفت
