Thumama bin Hazn reported,

I met Ayesha and asked her about nabidh. She told me that the delegation of Abdul-Qays came to the Prophet ﷺ and asked him about nabidh, and he forbade them from preparing nabidh in gourds, hollowed stumps, vessels coated with pitch, and green earthenware jars.

حدثنا ثمامة بن حزن القشيري قال

لقيت عائشة فسألتها عن النبيذ فحدثتني أن وفد عبد القيس قدموا على النبي ﷺ فسألوا النبي ﷺ عن النبيذ فنهاهم أن ينتبذوا في الدباء والنقير والمزفت والحنتم
