The Prophet ﷺ said to the delegation of Abdul-Qays, "I forbid you from using the gourd, the green jar, the hollowed stump, the pitch-coated vessel, the green jar, and the cut-off waterskin. Rather, drink from your waterskin and tie it shut."

أن النبي ﷺ قال لوفد عبد القيس أنهاكم عن الدباء والحنتم والنقير والمقير والحنتم والمزادة المجبوبة ولكن اشرب في سقائك وأوكه
23 - Muslim narrated the hadith of Nuh bin Qays, from Ibn Awn, from Muhammad, from Abu Hurairah, the story of the delegation of Qays. But this was narrated by the companions of Ibn Awn from him as a mursal report, without Abu Hurairah mentioned in it, among them Ibn Abu Adi and others.
